Third Time's the Charm
Inner Pep Talk: “Ok Jasmine, third times the charm. Don’t panic and just talk yo s#!t.”
Channeling my inner “Three” I waited days before my deadline to get started on this gem. A Three is one out of eleven life paths a person could radiate on (twelve if you’re using the Kabbalah numerology system). Did the following statement confuse you? No worries, this is what I’m here for. Astrology is a common “first step” reference into self-discovery. The difference between numerology and astrology comes down to word choice. Let me break it down:
Personality number = Rising/Ascending Sign
Heart’s desire number = Moon Sign
Life path = Sun Sign If your birthday is 10/20/1971
1+0+2+0+1+9+7+1 =21, (2+1) = 3
Then you have a Three life path.
"If you have the words, there's always a chance to find your way.”
A phrase Three’s everywhere can stand behind. Those born on a Three’s life path are the gifted communicators among us. Threes value joyful self-expression and artful communication over everything. From childhood their natural ability to draw people in, hold attention, and control a narrative is apparent. Parents often sing praises of their children's level of awareness and confidence: skills most don’t hone until well into adulthood. Criticizing the perceived maturity of Three children is detrimental to their emotional development, regardless of the intent. This leads to the literal abandonment of dreams because their enhanced sensitivity leads to crippling self-doubt. To prevent external influence their sarcasm is unlocked along with a refusal to show vulnerability.
When it comes to a social life rarely does their sensitivity stand out, no matter the audience. When telling tales of their lives, Threes graciously weave fiction with nonfiction typically. The Three’s silver tongue puts most at ease; strangers commonly lower their defenses and welcome them like long lost family. When it comes to conflict, the principles Threes feel were violated will always take priority over the issue itself. Any attempt at conflict resolution is relative to the person presenting the issue (strangers beware). If it’s a loved one, withdrawing into themselves is their non-verbal attempt to show they want to maintain the relationship. A courtesy given to the few trusted individuals in their lives. When they emerge from their “quiet place” jokes flow as their inner comedian keeps it light to hide how hurt the Three really felt. That approach is beneficial for maintaining many casual acquaintances and success in any career where networking makes you royalty.
Their endless well of inspiration lets them thrive creatively be it in business, science, or the arts. Building deeper connections requires all the traits that Threes have in abundance if they can keep their charisma under control. That perfectly crafted image they show the world is more harmful than helpful if they want to build a genuine relationship. Intimacy goes hand in hand with showing vulnerability. If a Three is coming off more repulsive than charming, it’s a way to know this is a person that needs to start being honest with themselves. In order to achieve the life they envision living they must learn that emotions do serve a purpose in their life. This is merely a glimpse into their inner workings and there’s much more to discover. The bright side you won’t have to search far for a Three to question. Stay curious!
